Sleek and Simple Design

Sometimes you can say more with less. We think we’ve finally hit on a new layout for our blog that highlights the most important aspects of what we want to share with readers.

The centerpiece of this design is the dynamic header image (hit your refresh button a few times!) that allows us to showcase a greater number of images. Also, direct links in the sidebar to individual posts allow our readers to get right to the heart of our writing.

And, finally, a special thanks to my mom. While many of the photographs showcased in the header are either taken by myself or Jacob, there are also numerous photographs taken by my mother during our 2007 trip to France and her 2007 visit to DC.
